The classic cut goes without any scrollwork at all, which gives it something modern and refined at once. The bodice carries no pattern — instead braid decorates the neckline and takes every eye — while the skirt is worked with a diamond motif and the apron wins on strong colour alone. Three rows of braid at the hem underline the traditional side.
